When we achieve unity with our voices, our music is much stronger, more powerful— united we can accomplish more for the Kingdom of God. That is our goal as a choir at Liberty. If this is your goal in serving our Lord Jesus Christ, please come be a part of this great ministry.
A discipleship ministry to our new believers. It consists of a four week fellowship Bible study that we individually do with our new believers. The goal is to encourage them to grow in their new relationship with Jesus Christ.
E.T.C (Extended Teaching Care)
Available for children between the ages of nursery through kindergarten. We meet every Sunday.
A discipleship ministry for men. It is designed to stimulate growth in our relationship with Jesus Christ, to develop our spiritual leadership skills, to enhance our role as husband and father, and to discover and develop the spiritual gift given to each of us as a believer.
Food Closet Ministry
The food closet is a mission project of the church. The principal function of this ministry is to feed those families in New Kent and James City Counties that might be in need of food. It operates the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month between 4:00-6:00pm.
J.A.M. (Jesus and Me)
Our primary goal is to teach Bible truths through music. Their participating in J.A.M. helps to develop the talents that God gave to each and allows them to worship and serve our Lord with their voices. The musical drama we perform teach Biblical truths.
Our teams offer a simple way to present the gospel to the lost. We meet people in their homes to tell them about Jesus and invite them to our church. Our goal is to incorporate Sunday School and evangelism in a way that God will use to develop and grow new believers.
Running to Win
A discipleship ministry for women. Our intent is to provide a place of service for our women using their talents and gifts to the glory of God. Programs are held on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm and Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:30am. We provide biblical teaching for preschoolers over 2.
Women on Mission
We study and pray for missionaries at home and in foreign countries; conduct mission projects such as for Eastern Shore Migrants, and backpacks for Armenian children, as well as local mission activities.
Young at Heart Ministry
The aim of this ministry is to bring joy and fellowship to our seniors. We pray together, enjoy God’s creations and have a great fellowship with one another.
Youth Ministry (7th—12th Grade Students)
We offer Bible Study during our Sunday School hour. On Wednesday nights, our youth meet from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for an ice breaker, praise and worship, and then open our bibles to study God’s Word together.
