Helping You Grow: LBC Ministries

With an exciting blend of traditional and more modern music, and a fresh approach to worship, the music at Liberty helps to bring each individual to a stronger sense of worship and commitment.

Discipleship ministry to our new believers. Consists of a four week fellowship Bible study. The goal is to encourage them to grow in their new relationship with Jesus Christ.

Discipleship ministry for men. It is designed to stimulate growth in relationship with Jesus Christ, to develop spiritual leadership skills, to enhance role as husband and father, and to discover and develop the spiritual gift given to each of us as a believer.

Our primary goal is to teach Bible truths through music. Participating in Children’s Choir helps to develop the talents that God gave to each and allows them to worship and serve our Lord with their voices. The musical dramas we perform teach biblical truths.

L.I.F.E. Teams

Our teams offer a simple way to present the gospel to the lost. We meet people in their homes to tell them about Jesus and invite them to our church. Our goal is to incorporate Sunday School and evangelism in a way that God will use to develop and grow new believers.

We offer 2-day, 3-day, 4-day or 5-day preschool programs. The regular hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We also will be offering an extended day from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. if enough parents are interested. For additional information, please contact Donna Brady at 804-966-7553.

The aim of this ministry is to bring joy and fellowship to our seniors. We pray together, enjoy God’s creations and have a great fellowship with one another.

In Matthew 28, Jesus says that we are to go and make disciples. We make every effort to accomplish this through Sunday School. By learning, understanding, and applying scripture it motivates us to fulfill the Great Commission.

Our intent is to provide a place of service for our women using their talents and gifts to the glory of God. Programs are held on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m. We provide biblical teaching for preschoolers over 2 and childcare for children under 2 on Wednesday mornings.

We study and pray for missionaries at home and in foreign countries; conduct mission projects such as for Eastern Shore Migrants, back packs for Armenian children, as well as local mission activities.

Worship is the proper response of all moral, sentient beings to God, ascribing all honor and worth to their Creator-God precisely because he is worthy, delightfully so. This side of the Fall, human worship of God properly responds to the redemptive provisions that God has graciously made. While all true worship is God-centered, Christian worship is no less Christ-centered. Empowered by the Spirit and in line with the stipulations of the new covenant, it manifests itself in all our living, finding its impulse in the gospel, which restores our relationship with our Redeemer-God and therefore also with our fellow image-bearers, our co-worshippers. Such worship therefore manifests itself both in adoration and action, both in the individual believer and in corporate worship, which is worship offered up in the context of the body of believers, who strive to align all the forms of the devout ascription of all worth to God with the panoply of new covenant mandates and examples that bring to fulfillment the glories of antecedent revelation and anticipate the consummation.
